Описание: In 2020 Bayerische Rundfunk unearthed the master tapes of the 23 July 1958 opening night broadcast. This broadcast had previously been released by MYTO on CD, but not in comparable quality. Pitch of the re-broadcast was perfectly consistent and almost exactly on pitch. The youtube version is as re-broadcast in a=446 Hz, but the downloadable FLAC files are slightly raised to a=447 Hz. This is a BR Control copy of that broadcast. Normally they are wiped as soon as they have been quality controlled. BR do not archive their announcements. So what we have is an original broadcast from the 23rd July 1958. Control copies were normally made at the BR studios in Munich.
