Mayurakshi Fast Passenger (53045/53046) is a daily passenger train which runs between Howrah and Rampurhat Junction. It is also the first train that connects Siuri, the District Head Quarter of Birbhum, with Howrah Junction. Mayurakshi Fast Passenger, from a long time, has maintained its special place in the hearts of the passengers of Andal-Sainthia Branch Line; it is quite popular in this route.
Though Siuri is the District Town of Birbhum,it has a very poor railway connectivity to the other parts of the state. Being the only train to Howrah early in the morning, Mayurakshi Fast Passenger is very close to the hearts of the people of Siuri. A huge number of passenger board this train everyday from Siuri to various places.
