As a fresh generation of artists blends traditional genres with new musical ideas and collaborations, they are drawn to instruments that allow them to express themselves in fresh ways. In this video, some of our artist and producer friends in Mexico talk about their musical ideas and the Somos Collection instruments they’ve been playing. We’ll hear from artists/producers Angel Aispuro and Edgar Rodriguez; artist and bajo quinto player Juan Bojorquez (“El Pony”) from Fuerza Regida; guitarists Carlos Torres from Peso Pluma, Jorge Tapia with Natanael Cano, Joaquin Ruiz from Grupo Firme, and Alan Nieblas from Alta Consigna; and bajo quinto player Gil Leyva from Junior H.
