In this video I've used an old pallet, some resin and a burl offcut to create a glitter dragon egg.
This eneded up being much more difficult than it needed to be as I used Polyester resin rather than epoxy and found that it's awful to turn. The polyester resin also shrinks when it cures so I had to grind along the edge of the resin and fill in the void with green tinted UV resin on several occasions.
The end product was finished with a light coat of Danish Oil and brought to a shine with friction polish.
