In a significant turnaround, U.S. President Donald Trump has scrapped levies on a number of food products, including beef, coffee and tropical fruits.
This comes amid rising concerns about inflationary costs in the U.S.
Trump, however, has long insisted his import duties do not fuel inflation.
The Republican leader signed an executive order after announcing the U.S. had reached agreements with Ecuador, Guatemala, El Salvador and Argentina — all designed to ease tariffs on agricultural products produced in those nations.
