In the western highlands of Guatemala is the massive city of Quetzaltenango, also known by its Mayan-rooted name of Xela. We spent a few days here exploring the city, hiking up the inactive volcano Chicabal to see an incredible crater lake, as well as soak up in the hot springs at Fuentes Georginas!
