The Hirschmann Cable Reel is one of the few LMI components that has changed very little over the years. Its a time proven, industrial grade, rugged piece of LMI equipment that just works. The main components are a spring­ loaded reel, a sealed housing which contains various crane specific circuitry, and the internal angle sensor. The cable ­reel length ­cable also serves to transmit the A2B signal and various other jib data on more complex systems. As far as ease of use goes, the cable reel comes ready to go right out of the box only requiring a simple mounting and zeroing procedure.
