Proponents of Nihilism fail to recognize that existential meaning exists beyond the realm of human rationality. Meaning is not found within, it is found without, in the experiences of man; in survival, struggle and creation.

Nihilism was coined by Nietzsche to describe the destruction of existential (Christian) meaning by scientific advancement and intellectual Neanderthals and correctly predicted its replacement with vapid materialism and other useless filler materials by "last men", the human equivalent of cockroaches. Such "last men" were to be the last of the species, as their aggressive destruction of existential meaning and failure to replace it removes all reason for procreation and continuation of the species.

Instead, Nietzsche proposed that the old Christian morality system, corrupted by the envious resentment of the mediocre masses (slave morality), be replaced with the Noble ideals; strength, charisma, beauty and creation, the same values that built ancient Rome, Greece and many other brilliant civilizations that still live on to this day.

Later, Peter Zapffe stayed true to his nihilistic views, becoming one of the first anti-natalist philosophers. He did not believe in procreation, and did the world a great favour in removing his genetic lineage from human civilization.
