Описание: Bob Chilcott's piece Can You Hear Me? was written in 1998 and tells of the world from the point of view of a deaf child. Scunthorpe Cooperative Junior Choir recorded Can You Hear Me for Oxford University Press in 2001 along with several other Chilcott pieces. This performance was recorded at the choir's annual Leaver's Concert in 2019 with freshly-learned sign language taught by Dr Paul Whittaker. Bob Chilcott has also been commissioned to write a special piece for the choir's Centenary Celebrations in 2023. We look forward to singing more of his work.
