This was my first ever time playing Elden Ring. I streamed it for my 30th birthday and had a great time with friends who came in to wish me well and support me. I struggled to come to grips with some aspects of the game, namely the input delay and menu schemes but I am becoming more comfortable even after only a few hours.
It's easy to see why this game won GOTY, it's beautiful, enticing and dramatic in every single detail. You can tell it was crafted with passion. And I am eager to jump back into it.
