This footage appears to be made at the requests of deployed soldiers during WW2. They write in letters of what footage they would like to see.
A female military officer sits behind a desk reading letters of request for footage. The first letter is a request to see a one-man torpedo. We are a shown an illustration of the torpedo, a group German of Navy officers maintaining the torpedo. The torpedo is shown submerged prior to being launched. Men analyze monitors and stopwatches. Navy officers gather on beach, collecting pieces of the torpedo.
The second letter is from a homesick officer who requests shots of Brooklyn. We see shots of the Brooklyn Bridge from the 40s. Street-signs from Downtown Brooklyn. A shot of traffic on Fulton St., Shore Road, Park Circle, Prospect Park, and Henry St. Boys sled in a park in Brooklyn. Shots of churches in Brooklyn - including St. Teresa's. A shot of the Brooklyn bay. Eastern Park way and its trees are shown. Crowds cheer as a baseball player scores at the stadium at Everett's Field. Finally, we see Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch.
