Gran Turismo 5 Seasonal Event Online A-spec Challenge No. 4 Nurburgring RX-7 LM Race Car

Описание: Average player attempt at the latest A-spec Seasonal Event with the RX-7 LM Race Car. Done with a +3 year old DS3 controller that has a sticky left analog stick (great for RPGs when I need to continually walk, not so great anywhere else).

Racing Softs. Skid Recovery Off. Traction Control Off.
I cheated and raised Brake Balance to 8/7 and turned ABS on to 1.

Tune settings are displayed at the beginning (not much of a tune).

I chose the Stage 2 Turbo instead of Stage 3 because of the Ring's treacherous road "subtleties". There aren't many straights/bends to take advantage of sustained throttle, so with all the high speed corners high downforce really makes a difference, especially when I hit those strips too aggressively, which I did a lot.

I made a couple of grave errors that could have cost me the chance to win. Haven't done much of the ring as I should have, all those blind corners really got me in the later half. Took me over a hour's worth of tries to get the win against the F1. When I finally caught up to it, I said the magic words: "FERNANDO IS FASTER THAN YOU". I like how it wiggled its butt after I did!

When I got better I dropped down to RH tires, and used cars that were 650PP that were fast but still handled like a brick:

(I thought I selected 1080p render but accidently selected my usual 720p settings unfortunately, no wonder it looks kind of fuzzy, then again it would look fuzzy anyways since it's interleaved).
