What If...? – MGM / Millennium / Equity (Sylvester Stallone's Death Wish)

Описание: Plans for a remake of the revenge thriller Death Wish, based on the novel by Brian Garfield, initiated back in 2006, with the earliest iteration of the project being a version that was supposed to have been produced and directed by Sylvester Stallone from a screenplay by John Brancato and Michael Ferris. Stallone would also star as Paul Kersey, the role made famous by Charles Bronson. As opposed to the architect of the earlier film or the CPA of Garfield's book, Stallone's Kersey would be an ex-convict who turns away from violence and, after being accepted back into society, becomes a cop who finds success without ever having to fire a weapon, only to revert back to his primal instincts when his family is attacked. Stallone's take on the story would've also seen Kersey targeting corporate antagonists, such as defense attorneys. Follow me and ponder the question, "What if...?"
