We HATED Magic Kingdom’s New Pirates Lounge?! 😳 Grand Floridian Move | TRON | Steakhouse 71 Review

Welcome back to Jet & Genie for Day 5 of our Walt Disney World series ✨

Today is a big one — we check out of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and begin our split stay at our home DVC resort, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa 🏰

Before check-in, we head to Magic Kingdom for the first time this trip.

🍓 Breakfast is at Sleepy Hollow Refreshments, where we try the famous Fresh Fruit & Nutella Waffle, joined by friends Sarah and Don.

Then it’s thrill time with Nicki:

🏴‍☠️ Pirates of the Caribbean
🕌 Magic Carpets of Aladdin

Lunch is the classic Corn Dog Nuggets at Casey’s Corner before meeting up with Jackie, Carol and Lee to try the brand new Pirates-themed lounge — The Beak and Barrel.

Unfortunately… we really didn’t enjoy it.

In this vlog we share our honest review of:
• The long wait
• Strict rules
• Overpriced menu
• Weak drinks
• Inefficient use of park time
Why we don't plan to return

After that disappointment, we meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater before finally checking into our Grand Floridian DVC Resort Studio in Big Pine Key (4th floor, lake view).

• First impressions of the Grand Floridian lobby refurbishments

Dinner is at Steakhouse 71 — our first visit — and we absolutely loved it. Incredible food, fantastic service and the standout steak sauce flight.
