All Bard Songs by Tune C64

The original Bard's Tale I (Technically "Tales of the Unknown Vol. 1: The Bard's Tale") was released in 1985 for multiple platforms. In coming years through the 80s and early 90s, Bard's Tale I, II and III would be released on a total of 11 platforms, though not all games in the series were available on all platforms.

This video features only C64 tunes for all three Bard's Tale games in the classic series.

In every game in the series the bard could play songs which had special powers that could help the party in its wanderings or during combat. Though the 20 songs are the same by name across the different platforms, the the music tunes were not, and totaled almost 40, not counting Bard's Tale I and II for NES.

In this channel, a "tune" is the actual music, and a "song" is the name of that tune in the game. Many tunes were re-used in different platforms and were not always the same song across platforms.

Lawrence Holland is credited with the music for Bard's Tale I
Dave Warhol is credited with the music for Bard's Tale II
Kurt Heiden is credited with the music for Bard's Tale III

Much of the music is original, but there are also renditions of music from Renaissance, Baroque, Classical and Romantic music. If you recognize a tune in this video which I do not have credited to an original composition o or comments, can you please speak up with your identification? I'll cite you in the description and any new versions!
