Today we'll be reviewing part number 54000-026. This is the West Bar Trailer and Connector with a Four Flat connection. It does have the wires exposed, that way you can hard wire this onto your trailer and then you'll have the connection with the four flat ready to hook up to the tow vehicle. The coiled length is going to measure about 3 feet. It will stretch up to 12 feet, giving you a safe length of working limit anywhere from 6 to 10 feet. When it's fully stretched out to the 12 foot capacity, it does put some tension on the connection point, so you want to be cautious of that.

It has a really nice protective coating around it that is insulated, so it's going to stand up well against the elements and resist damage. See here that we have the four flat connection. Coiled length again, 3 feet, fully extended, 12, with a safe limit of anywhere from 6 to 10. The wires, our yellow wire is going to be for the left turn and stop lights, green wire is going to be for the right turn and stop lights, the brown is going to be for your tail light, license, and side marker, as well as your clearance lights, and the white is going to be your ground wire.
