On Fri 02/12/16, B61-S317-GM27-GM10-S302 set out from Port Augusta with the second and final transfer move of the coal wagons that were used on the Leigh Creek coal service.
After some loco issues on the Friday that threatened to halt the move, the train is seen on the Sunday morning in Western New South Wales as it heads for Bathurst.
The train was running as no 8878 and consisted of 90 wagons. The loco's hauling it are all 1950's era GM-EMD units owned by Southern Shorthaul Rail, here in Australia. Sun 04/12/16
