Описание: NeoSeal® 512 SaltSeal is a water based white colour siloxane penetrating sealer designed specifically for the treatment of masonry materials and concrete surfaces. SaltSeal protects concrete and masonry surfaces from the effects of exterior exposure and weathering. SaltSeal penetrates deep into the surface pores and reacts chemically to provide a durable, long-lasting barrier against water and salt intrusion. This level of protection can substantially reduce the damaging effects of freeze/thaw cycling, precipitation, acid rain, efflorescence, and dust/dirt degradation.

 Commonly used as a protective and waterproofing coating for concrete foundations, retention wall, retaining structure. It can be used below ground but above the water table level.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Surface preparation:
Prepare the surface thoroughly by cleaning, washing and removing dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose particles using wire brush and water jet. Break the weak portion of concrete surface near the area of repair and clean with water jet. Roughen the surface mechanically and dampen the surface with clean water. Remove corrosion deposit and clean the surface of exposed rebar.

2. Crack Filling: Cracks of size up to 5mm should be filled by NeoSeal® 503 Crack Fill paste. Cracks wider than 5 mm should be filled by applying NeoSeal® 502 URP modified mortar slurry using putty blade properly. Let it dry for 24 hrs.

3. Priming:
Pre-wet the surface with sufficient water and allow it to dry for minimum an hour. Use NeoSeal® 512 SaltSeal as a self-priming by diluting it with water in 1:2 ratio (1 part SaltSeal : 2 parts water). Apply primer coat by a brush, roller or airless spray and let it dry for 3-4 hours. Primer coat penetrates into
the concrete pores and seals the substrate. It also acts as an adhesion promoter for further coatings.

4. Application:
 Stir product well before use.
 Apply a layer of coats by brush, roller or spray and let it dry for 8-10 hrs.
 After that apply second coat at right angles using brush, roller or spray and allow it to dry for 24 hrs. The application rate should be about 45-50 sq. ft. per liter for two coats.

COVERAGE:
About 35 – 40 Sq. Ft. per Liter for two coats. Coverage may vary depending on the texture and porosity of the application surface.
PACKING: 1 Ltr., 5 Ltr., 20 Ltr.
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE:
Best before 12 months from the date of manufacturing when in sealed pack and stored under proper condition. Store in a cool and dry place between 5⁰C to 35⁰C in closed condition and away from direct sunlight.
PRECAUTIONS AND LIMITATIONS:
Follow recommended dosage strictly. Do not use in second coat of plaster as it may create difficulty in paint application, instead use Neoseal IWP 500. Add water if needed in repair mortar in hot temperature conditions to compensate for evaporation loss.
HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS:
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye protection during mixing and application. In case of contact with skin, rinse with plenty of clean water and then cleanse with soap water. In case of contact with eyes, immediately rinse with plenty of clean water and take medical advice.
