Bigger Than Basketball | St John Bosco Braves Inspiring Journey to the KBM Tournament of Champions

Описание: Returning to Washington, the nationally ranked St. John Bosco Braves high school basketball team inspires beyond the court at the 2024 Kevin Brown Memorial Tournament of Champions. Traveling all the way from Bellflower, California the team is set to compete in the 5-day event for a greater cause to help raise funds and awareness to help find a cure for the rare brain disease named Glioblastoma.

This is an extremely unique and talented cast of stories that came together for this incredible fundraising cause. We sit down with senior combo guard and University of Southern California Commit, Elzie Harrington to learn more about his journey. Along with interviewing his dad, Dr. Darrell Harrington who was recently diagnosed with Glioblastoma, and also hear from the Braves head coach, Matt Dunn whose father passed away from this disease.

Jodi Brown, Kevin Brown's widow, and Kevin's long time coaching partner Eric Schermerhorn, help run the tournament and are founders of the KBStrong. They give a look into the origins of this tournament and what this cause is all about.
