Driving through Yosemite’s mile-long tunnel to El Capitan and Glacier Point | Full Scenic Drive
This video starts by passing through the nearly mile-long Wawona Tunnel, where everything goes dark and quiet for a moment — and then suddenly opens up into one of the most iconic views in the world. That first look into Yosemite Valley never gets old.
From there, we take in the sheer scale of El Capitan — a massive wall of granite rising thousands of feet straight out of the valley floor. Standing next to it really puts things into perspective. Photos and videos don’t fully capture how big it feels in person.
The journey finishes at Glacier Point, where the entire valley stretches out below. From up there, Yosemite feels calm, quiet, and timeless — the kind of place that makes you slow down and just take it all in.
This trip wasn’t about rushing from place to place.
It was about the drive, the views, and being present in one of the most incredible landscapes in the world.
