Tanni Grey-Thompson is one of the most successful British disabled athletes. She won a total of 16 Paralympic medals, including 11 golds and has held over 30 world records, competing across 5 Olympics Games (Seoul, Barcelona, Atlanta, Syndey and Athens!)
She is one of the first female wheelchair users in the world to present on television. She uses her position as a Baroness and presenter to strive for better representation and rights for disabled people.
Grey-Thompson was named the BBC Wales Sports Personality of the Year three times and in 2019 she was given the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award.
Grey-Thompson is currently on the BBC media team coverage for the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
