How to Install Windows Vista With Updates in 2025

Why a video on how to install Windows Vista in 2025? The internet seems to want to relive the age of the frutiger aero aesthetic. Apple also just announced their liquid glass design language, and a lot of people are saying it looks like Microsoft’s aero glass from Windows Vista! I felt the timing couldn’t be more appropriate to install Windows Vista and check it out for ourselves.

I’ll also share some history about Windows Vista during the installation process. Windows Vista introduced a lot of new features to Windows that are still found to this day: User Account Control, a new driver architecture and an enhanced networking stack, among many other features. And of course, the beloved aero glass theme, which we will be sure to enable in this video.

Windows Updates also doesn't work out of the box anymore on Windows Vista, but it can be restored with Legacy Update: http://legacyupdate.net
