A warrior from the Horus Heresy era steps onto the battlefield once again.
In this cinematic gameplay video created in Space Marine 2, the focus is on a Horus Heresy–era Imperial Fist Space Marine equipped with a power axe and combat shield. Using the Astartes Overhaul Mod, it becomes possible to recreate the look and combat style of a brutal close-quarters legionary from the age when the Imperium was torn apart by civil war.
The enemy this time is the corrupted legion of the Thousand Sons. Despite being heavily outnumbered, the Imperial Fist dominates the battlefield, cutting through traitor marines in intense melee combat.
Rather than presenting simple gameplay, the video is structured as cinematic machinima gameplay. The goal is to capture the feeling of a Warhammer 40K battle using dramatic combat moments, dynamic camera perspectives and immersive battlefield scenes.
The footage was recorded with ultra graphics settings in 4K resolution to highlight the visual detail of the armor, environments and combat effects.
A ReShade preset was also applied to enhance lighting and colors, giving the video a brighter and more cinematic atmosphere.
