"Zay Elhawa" is one of the most iconic romantic songs performed by Abdel Halim Hafez, also known as the "Songbird of the Nile.


" Written by poet Mohammed Hamza and composed by the legendary Baligh Hamdi, this song was released in the 1970s and quickly became a beloved classic in the Arab world.


Its heartfelt lyrics and captivating melody perfectly capture the emotions of love and longing, touching the hearts of millions. At FAMA 2023, in the "Al Andaleeb" tribute concert, artist Amr Ali revives "Zay Elhawa" with a new arrangement by maestro Wanes Moubayed and under the musical direction of Wafa Al Zaghal. This rendition beautifully blends the essence of the original with a contemporary touch, bringing this timeless piece to new generations.
