Ascension — How to Play 🎲 and Why It's a Gem 💎

Описание: Ascension is one of the earliest deckbuilding games on the market, and recently had a 10th anniversary edition — not deluxe or big-box, but fundamentally improved. It's a great time to try out what might be my favourite pure deckbuilder. Not as strategic as Dominion, and can be super-swingy especially with the expansions, but a huge amount of variety makes for a great game. The new edition is the right opportunity to explore if you haven't yet had the pleasure.

Another long video. The second half is discussion about the many and varied standalone expansion sets released over the years, and which ones to me are worth adding to a giant, single Ascension deck. The video's been severely edited to get it to under an hour long.
