It is a brief story of an old and heavily used engine - an Enya R120 4C.
Engine was purchased on Ebay with description "pre-owned".
After receiving an engine I was surprised of it's condition - it was terrible.
During dissembling I was found a lot of unpleasant surprises inside, bearings was rusty and non-operational, combustion chamber with valves was heavily carbonized, piston ring was staked into the piston groove, practically wasn't any signs of compression, of course. I was request a partial refund from Ebay seller, and he was agreed with my arguments about engine condition. I was utilize partial refund received for purchasing a new parts, which were installed and the engine was restored to a practically new engine condition, internally and cosmetically.
This short video is showing key steps of looking inside the engine and described what steps was in it's restoration process.
