Описание: This Week Karns High School Culinary Arts Students battled it out in teams in the 1st Annual Karns Iron Chef Competition. Each culinary class was given a surprise bag of MRE’s, limited pantry items, and 60 minutes to create an entree and a side, or a dessert using the ingredients found in the Meals Ready to Eat kits from the Tennessee Army National Guard. The judges tasted and scored the meals and crowned a champion in each class. Students from our Freshman Academy had the opportunity to tour the kitchen and cheer on the contestants. This event is sponsored by Staff Sergent Chris Fairchild and the Tennessee Army National Guard. Thanks to Mr. Neb our Culinary Arts Teacher and Julie Langley our Karns High School 865 Academy Coach for organizing this event.
