Song of the Vineyard is a scripture-centered worship ballad that traces the biblical story of the vineyard across the Old and New Testaments.
The song begins in Isaiah 5:1–7, where the Lord plants a vineyard with care and expectation, yet finds only wild fruit. The hedge is removed, the wall broken down, the vineyard left unpruned and without rain.
It then moves through the refining and measured discipline described in Isaiah 27:7–9, where guilt is removed and false altars are crushed. From there, the promise of restoration emerges in Isaiah 27:2–6, where the Lord Himself declares: “I guard it day and night… I water it continually.”
The fulfillment is revealed in the words of Jesus in John 15:1–8, where He proclaims, “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.” What failed in the vineyard finds its completion in Christ.
This song is a meditation on covenant, judgment, purification, restoration, and abiding in the True Vine.
