The Story: A War at the Heart of Justice
The Earth’s Anchor—a literal "reality fuse" and cosmic stabilizer—is failing. Its current Guardian, an ancient Jesuit named Thomas who has maintained order since the 1500s, is dying of a localized form of entropy. At this moment of critical failure, the avatar of cosmic dissolution, General Zoran, has surrendered to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague. But he isn't seeking justice; he’s seeking physical access to the Anchor hidden beneath the courtroom to trigger "thermal silence" and erase the universe back to a zero degree of existence.

• Ayara [Iara] (The Water): A brilliant Brazilian hydro-diplomat of indigenous origin. Unlike Thomas, she doesn't try to stop the flow of chaos; she manages it through fluidity, adapting to a universe that is made of "events" rather than "things".
