Without getting too technical, the Nissan Qashqai e-Power's petrol engine powers the electric motor which drives all four wheels. What does that mean? Instant power and acceleration when you put your foot on the pedal.
And speaking of pedal, E-Pedal mode in the Nissan Qashqai e-Power TIL allows you to drive the car with just one pedal. Instead of gently coasting to a stop when you take your foot off the accelerator, in E-Pedal mode, the Nissan Qashqai starts braking. While you're slowing down, the regenerative braking captures that kinetic energy, sending power back to recharge the battery.
E-Pedal mode is perfect if you're in a high residential area, or dealing with a lot of traffic.
