New Dell computer's fan making too much noise when opening a (longer) Word document: Is that normal?

Описание: I ordered this computer 43 das ago. It was made 35 days ago and delivered to me 2 weeks ago. I have not had a chance to use it until today. Every time I try to open a larger Word file, the fan starts spinning and making noise as if a plane were preparing to take off. A minute later the noise disappears. Is that normal? An independent computer specialist told me that this is not normal and the fan might have been damaged during transportation. However, the representative from Dell ran a remote test and said that there were not any hardware problems and it could be a software issue. I want to underline that I open the same same file with the same software from another computer without hearing any noise. Can someone solve this mystery?
