5:00 AM – A Chilly Village Morning in Shujabad
Woke up to the peaceful ambiance of Shujabad, wrapped in the cold embrace of a quiet village morning. We had our breakfast in the open air, surrounded by the sights and sounds of rural life. There’s something magical about starting your day under an open sky with a hot cup of tea and fresh food.

7:30 AM – On the Road Again
We resumed our journey with hearts full and spirits high. As we drove past Multan, the scenery became incredibly beautiful — endless stretches of mango farms, sun-drenched and lush. It felt like nature was putting on a show just for us.

9:30 AM – Bypassing Multan
Took the Multan bypass and continued towards Khanewal. The roads were smooth, and the greenery all around was soothing to the eyes.

10:45 AM – A Warm Welcome in Khanewal
We stopped at a small hotel to charge our phones and camera, grab some tea, and the family had brunch. There, we met Naveed, a complete stranger who welcomed us with genuine warmth. He even invited us to stay at his place in Khoiwala and insisted on paying our restaurant bill. It's moments like these that restore faith in humanity — the hospitality here is beyond words.

12:30 PM – Onward to Sahiwal
Refreshed and recharged, we hit the road again. The drive through Sahiwal and Okara was peaceful, with fields stretching endlessly on both sides. The sky slowly began to change color as afternoon crept into evening.

5:00 PM – A Sweet Pause at a Dhaba
Stopped at a roadside dhaba for tea and some relaxation. There, we discovered a black shehtoot tree and couldn’t resist picking the fresh fruit right off the branches. Sweet, juicy, and so simple — yet one of the most memorable parts of the day.

9:00 PM – Arrival in Lahore
We finally reached Lahore, tired but with hearts full of joy. After covering 400 kilometers today, and now 1280 km since we left Karachi, it truly feels like we’re in the heart of Pakistan. So many memories made in just one day — village mornings, roadside kindness, scenic drives, and unexpected moments of joy.

Reflections:
Today was a reminder that the journey is just as beautiful as the destination. From Naveed's kindness in Khanewal to the simple pleasure of eating mulberries by the roadside, every moment added a unique color to our travel story. Grateful for the road, the people, and the memories being made.
