Apr 4, 2015. This dwarf hamster is said to be having "diarrhoea" for one week. Actually, the backside is urine-stained. The complaint is "smelly urine." Yet he is active.
In-patient for one day. The backside is clipped bald and washed. His urine was really smelly. He lived with his sibling who could have "groomed" him, staining his backside. With antibiotics, the urine is much less smelly. He was isolated from the other at home now. No cheese to be fed nowadays.
Two male hamsters stay together may result in this smaller-sized hamster being bullied or mountedd.
