Riding My Dad’s 2009 Nightster | Cold Colorado Air, Bike Quirks, Memories & ADHD Rambling

Описание: Back in November, I took my 2009 Harley-Davidson Nightster — affectionately named Clevis — on a chilly but sunny ride from Rifle to Grand Junction to his winter home. If you’ve been around the channel for a while, you already know I inherited this bike from my dad back in 2014, so every ride carries a little bit of history with it. Today’s video is part moto-vlog, part personal ramble, and part “why does this bike behave like this?” investigation.

This wasn’t supposed to be a vlog day at all… but my Cardo refused to connect to my phone, so instead of music I got a full dose of ADHD commentary. You’re welcome!

Along the way I talk about some of Clevis’s quirks; his disdain for high speeds, the left grip that likes to twist when it absolutely shouldn’t, and the saddlebags I’m debating removing now that this isn’t my primary bike anymore. None of it stopped the ride from being gorgeous, though. The route along I‑70 takes you past wide-open ranchland, mesas glowing in the fall sun, and the winding walls of De Beque Canyon. Even when nothing “big” happens, Colorado knows how to show off.
