Going a step further in compatibility, both pieces are 100% RAM compatible with no interference to memory slots and also do not interfere with the first PCIe slot on mITX motherboards. Both feature nickel plated copper contact blocks, 6mm heat pipes and Noctua’s new 92mm NF-A9 premium fan. The NF-A9 features an incredibly wide usage range of 400-2000rpm with PWM control, allowing for utmost silence under lower loads while still having the ability to move 46 cfm at a mere 22.8 dBA. Both units include a tube of Noctua’s NT-H1, as well as clips for an optional second fan. Noctua backs the NH-U9S and NH-D9L with a 6-year warranty.
