Here is instruction How to turn ignition on Mercedes C class W204 , E class W212 , CLK W207 and GLK X204.
This is only possible if ELV or Electronic steering lock ESL become defective on unlocked or moving position and steering wheel is still turning.
Starting the car is only temporary until driven to the next workshop.
After switching of the ignition car again is not starting until you repeat described actions.
