Before I caught the freight train running through this crossing, I got this walk around look tour of the Sunset Ave railroad crossing on the Madera Spur Line in Madera, California.

This crossing still features signals from the SP 50s - 60s era with LEDs by Electro-Tech inserted inside the lights and still retains one of its original US&S Teardrop Bells. This crossing only activates for trains that stop on the island circuit which activates just short of the sidewalk, trains move at a slow speed and stop before passing through here and across all the rest of the signalized crossings West of here.
