Описание: With COVID-19 affecting the lives of all those around us, it is also bringing disproportionate racism back into the light. Disparities of access to healthcare treatment is seen more clearly now than ever. Here, Faith Crittenden shares with us her view on racism as a public health issue. Faith is a graduating fourth year medical student at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine entering into Pediatrics. She is one of the co-authors on Beyond Declarative Advocacy: Moving Organized Medicine And Policy Makers From Position Statements To Anti-Racist Praxis as well as the American Medical Association’s historic policy, Racism is a Public Health Threat.
