20110 Thrash | E&BAR | 2025/08/29-31

Описание: English Electric Type 1, Class 20, 20110 providing thrash at the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway Diesel Gala.

Gradients are provided through the video but please note there is no official gradient profile on the internet that I could use for reference, so I am reading directly from the gradient posts beside the track.

*For Runs 5 & 6: We know from driving 37294 there is a gradient uphill from Bolton Abbey, but aren't exactly sure what the gradient is. The last gradient marker east of Holywell Halt says it is 1 in 100, therefore it has been assumed this is the gradient all the way from Bolton Abbey (~123m above sea level) to the bridge at Holywell Halt (~158m above sea level) as the gradient then goes back down towards Embsay (~144m above sea level).

The train was formed with the kitchen car at the Embsay end which had a majority of the uphill gradient, which bowled us getting up close to the loco on that end.
