the games industry is haunted by a game about ghosts. eight years ago, konami announced Silent Hills, and then canceled it a few months later. they didn't touch the Silent Hill franchise for another eight years—until recently, that is. in the interim, though, pretty much everyone else in horror games has picked up where konami left off, salvaging the few fragments of Silent Hills that they had seen. Silent Hills is the unreleased game that inspired everything after it.
