Following that meeting, Dana did sign a Tongbei practitioner—but not for the UFC. Instead, he joined the Power Slap League, the slap-fighting competition Dana himself founded. That’s because Tongbei Quan generates power in a very distinctive way: the arms move like whips, channeling explosive force directly into the palm in an instant.
