A rare sight to see the Murray Mouth without all the dredging infrastructure! The Mouth has been dredged to keep it open (on and off) since 2002. While the last time dredging was paused was due to the 2022 floods, this time it was just for some scheduled maintenance, meaning there was a very narrow Murray mouth as the sand started filling back in!
Nice to paddle across the mouth with an unimpeded view.
