Today I’m starting an introductory series using the qu32 to run FOH for a band. We’ll start by talking about stage plot and input list docs. Then some setup functions on the mixer to use a prerecorded multitrack project as the input for a virtual sound check. In this first episode I’ll focus on “gain staging” - the processes of getting each input channel to peak at or near 0db and the reason that’s important.
