Do you have what it takes to be a high performer? Do you know the main qualities and traits they possess and value? Do you want to? Well if so, this is the video for you! I really enjoyed making this video. It took me a long ass time, almost like writers block but for youtube, it stumped me. It was so packed with info and a bit of a longer one, it took me quite a long time so I really hope you guys enjoy it and gain something from it as I certainly did and have watching it over and over again while editing.
Brendan Berchard is a high performance coach like Tony Robbins and many of my other mentors I study and teach. He is a leading expert in his field and this is very evident in his work and life. I guarantee your life will improve by implementing some of these habits and qualities of high performers. I know mine without a doubt did. It’s too easy for these skills and qualities to fall by the wayside. We need to be vigilant to constantly remind ourselves and constantly be practicing and learning more. Growth mindset. I have damn near mastered so much of this at one point and then you start doing other things and your focus follows and all the sudden you notice it wavering again. To be the best we can be, it takes constant effort. You’re either building your empire or destroying it with every move you make.
I really loved this book, definitely one of my favorite in the habit/ mindset/ high performance elite genre. He had excellent information on how to be more like the best version of yourself which is already within us. We put our own blocks up and have to tap into our personal power and highest self, closing the gap of who we are to who we want to be. Imagine and visualize. See yourself in say, 5 years looking back at what you’ve accomplished, being grateful a.f. You can’t just say you’re grateful, you have to truly be. Gratitude is the frequency of high performers. They are grateful for what they have and focusing on that enhances and increases it. What you focus on grows, where energy flows. If you focus on the good vs. the bad, you will attract and get more good into your life. This is my shit, all day. Law of attraction.
High performers do not condone bad behavior. They just don’t. They value respect, not just for themselves but for others as well. They are respectable people build on character and they embody that. They will call anyone out being rude to ex: someone else on the team. We take charge. I just got into this a bit with people who were fighting for public nudity. It was odd but I don’t think in this world in this day and age in America, that would be the best thing for all. I think it would seriously disrespect many groups of people and so for that, I have an issue. It’s not even personal or that it would personally offend me as much as I know it would for many others, which is why my vote is no to that one.
Influence. Influence is how we get others on board. How do we view the world? Ourselves? Our goals? Our opponents? Ask the right questions. Power questions. How do you want to influence them? First, be likeable and level with them. Ask them for favors. Push them. Push them to be better for themselves and the world. Raise the bar. Raise their standards. Raise your squad. If you’re the smartest person in the room, you’re in the wrong room. (Unless, you’re getting paid for it, of course.) Influence was my favorite topic and chapter in this book. I know so much and really truly know I know how to help people but it only works if they are ready and want to. People have free will. So if you want to help others and believe you can, you must improve your influencing skills to get them on board as well. It just doesn’t work otherwise if they aren’t into it.
Courage… Ah, yes. Courage like the lion. Another cornerstone habit of high performers. J We take risks and face our fears. We win like the champions that we are. We also fail, that’s a part of life. But we don’t fear failure. We do what we can to mitigate risk, but we don’t live in the fear frequency lowest vibration, nopeeee.
Reflecting back on my notes of how far I've come since reading this in just a short year or so ago. It's amazing. I was travelling and playing too much, had to work more to get what I wanted in life. I knew that. I am now doing more of that and couldn't be happier. Thank you. Get Forecked,
-Britt
