The Hawks in the Eastern Cape say their investigation into the multi-million rand Mdantsane Swimming Pool project is at an advanced stage and arrests are imminent. Last year the investigating body raided the offices of the Buffalo City Metro in KuGompo (formerly East London), where they seized a number of documents and electronic devices. To date the facility remains in a shoddy state despite over seventy million rand being spent to refurbish the facility.
