The Gram-Schmidt Process is usefull to form a orthogonal basis from a set of vectors that are not orthogonal. The vector projection formula is used in this Gram-Schmidt Process. We will briefly give the definition of vector projection and the Gram-Schmidt Process. We will work out several examples in detail to illustrate these topics. We will show the calculations step by step and verify these using #MATLAB.
