This is a toxic mud lake from Romania
(area is: Rosia Montana, Rosia Poieni, Lupsa, Alba county, Apuseni Mountains [they are part of the Carpathian Mountains])
The mud is basically the waste from a close-by copper mine. The copper mine started to operate in 1977 during the communist regime of Nicolae Ceausescu.
Along the years, the lake swallowed the village "Geamana" from the valley and only the tip of the church is still visible today.
This footage was taken in August 2020, at this date the mine is still operational and the lake growing.
