The good ending is triggered if you choose NOT to fight Shu. Shu leaves, Zezenen recovers his health and calls in reinforcements. Erica's brother appears and wants to fight against you (what an idiot...)
After dealing a bit of damage to Zezenen, he regenerates and his two commanders decide to retreat since anymore fighting would be pointless. Zezenen is defeated which leads to the good ending.
The peace negotiations with Guest are successful and there is ever lasting peace and progress for mankind.
