As we head into the winter season on our off grid homestead, Alyssa has been struggling to keep warm! She grew up in the desert where it is was often 70 degrees during winter, so living in a cold climate is a shock to her! She is slowly learning how to dress appropriately not just to get through the winter, but to be comfortable while working outdoors. We decided to get her a Carhartt jacket so that she can continue to pump out the construction and moving of materials... happily!

We will do a full review on this jacket as she has time to wear it. So far so good after a week, and she's much warmer than she was with her Northface, but only time will tell how this piece of clothing holds up! Once again... you gotta be tough to hang with this family!
