I made the 10 grams potassium nitrate though 15 grams potassium nitrate mixes and tested those. After testing those and seeing the surprising results a couple of hours later I mixed up a lit off the 8, 9, and 16 grams of potassium nitrate mixtures because I wanted to see in further directions.
One thing I did not mention in the video, because it did not show up well on camera, is that the color of the smoke matched the pattern I saw with the dissolved. The lower concentration of potassium nitrate mixes had a darker gray smoke, while the higher concentration of potassium nitrate had white smoke.
